You are invited to submit nominations for the 2015 Teachers’ Hall of Fame, sponsored by Jerusalem Baptist Church, Calhoun, Louisiana.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Retired Teachers’ Hall of Fame is to honor and create a lasting memory of our senior most, distinguished educators from the parishes of Ouachita, Union, Lincoln, and Jackson, who have made significant contributions in the field of education and taught in the elementary and secondary school system during the turbulent years of school desegregation.
Nominees should fit the following criteria:
- 75 years or older
- Reside in the parish of Ouachita, Union, Lincoln or Jackson
- Have made significant contributions in the field of education
- Taught in the Elementary or Secondary School System
- Taught prior to the National Mandate for public school integration
Those selected for the Hall of Fame will be inducted on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at 3:00 p.m., location Jerusalem Baptist Church.
